CORONA VIRUS (COVID19) Policy

OVERVIEW

Following continued cases of Coronavirus in Northamptonshire and a steady increase of the virus across the UK you will all undoubtedly be concerned about how it may affect your business.

In addition to the health risks, there are business-risks stemming from absences from work, restrictions on travel and the risk of a high proportion of UK workers being absent from work simultaneously.  Even if colleagues are not infected, “self-isolation” recommendations may lead to employees being forced to remain at home.

GROSVENOR GROUP INTERNAL PREVENTATIVE MEASURES

As part of Grosvenor’s response, we have implemented a number of proactive measures to prepare ourselves in case of escalation to allow us to continue providing a service to our customers and to protect our colleagues. Some of the measures being implemented are:

  1. Remote/Home Working

We already have a core base of colleagues set up for remote/home working and are now extending this to all staff.

  1. Suppliers & Vendors

We have identified our key suppliers and liaised with them to identify the actions and measures they are taking to reduce the risks associated with disruption or reduced service levels. We have received reassurance from all of our key partners that they have strategies in place to ensure service continuity in any foreseeable eventuality.

  1. Health & Safety

We are providing a number of resources to protect our colleagues and others they come into contact with. These include disposable gloves, hand gels, bacterial wipes and sprays, and have introduced stronger working practices in terms of managing hygiene for common areas and work stations.

  1. Reviewing Current Government Advice

We are continually reviewing government advice and holding regular senior management meetings to ensure that we are able to react quickly to any new information or changes in the situation.

FUTURE POTENTIAL MEASURES

There are also some measures we may take in the future and we will communicate these at the appropriate time.

  1. Site Visits

On site visits may need to be restricted or halted completely to protect our colleagues and customers. We may restrict the number of visitors to the office and request meetings to be carried out using web conferencing.

All external visitors may be asked where they have travelled from and the address of the company they represent. If their company or location has been affected, then this will be raised immediately with Senior Management.

  1. Equipment deliveries Grosvenor sites

We may reduce the amount of deliveries other than for critical requirements.

  1. Inbound and outbound vehicle deliveries and collections

Please see our vehicle delivery process here >>

IMPACT ON SERVICE LEVELS

  1. Workforce shortages

Whether infected or not, self-isolation will lead to colleagues being unable to come into the office for a period of time. This could impact multiple people at the same time and may result in our office being manned with minimum staff. However, we endeavour to mitigate the impact of this by ensuring the majority of our staff are able to work remotely from home.

  1. Restriction of movement

There may be some restrictions implemented by the government affecting travel.  We will endeavour to try to use alternative arrangements for sales meetings, conferences, client visits etc.
