Grosvenor publishes ‘Electric Vehicle Guide’ covering drivers’ most frequently asked questions

Grosvenor Leasing has published a simple guide which answers the most commonly asked questions by drivers who are new to electric vehicles.

More than fifty percent of cars delivered by Grosvenor Leasing and Interactive Fleet Management now have electric capability.

The adoption of EVs has seen a dramatic upswing in the last 12 to 18 months, and their popularity has led to an influx of questions by drivers seeking advice from our customer service and maintenance teams.

“When drivers are deciding whether to have an EV, or just after it has been delivered, they often have a lot of questions about the vehicle,” said James Parnell, Grosvenor’s purchasing director.

“Questions range from obvious ones about charging, but also extend to areas such as whether using in-vehicle entertainment, air conditioning and heating will affect the battery life through to how safe EVs are when driving through standing water and their suitability for towing trailers and caravans.

“For this reason we decided to compile all of the most commonly asked questions into a electronic booklet so that companies can issue it to their drivers.”
